Vote to pass a bill that requires schools to publish the immunization rate, by disease, of their total student population, effective for the 2015-2016 school year.

Highlights:

• Requires each local health department to make the immunization rate, by disease, of children in the area available for each school and children’s facility served by the department (Sec. 1).

• Requires each school and children’s facility to report the number of children served by the school or facility who are in attendance conditionally because of an incomplete immunization schedule annually to the Oregon Health Authority (Sec. 1).

• Requires each school and children’s facility to make the immunization information in the provisions of this bill available in the following locations (Sec. 1):
• In the main office of the school, district, or facility;
• On the website of the school, district, or facility; and
• To parents in the form of a paper or electronic document.
