Title: Amends Exisitng Law Relating to Motor Vehicles

Highlights:

  • Requires an individual driving in the leftmost lane of a roadway, with 2 or more lanes of traffic either direction, to move from that lane when another vehicle is overtaking him or her from the rear except in, but not limited to, the following circumstances (Sec. 69):
    • An individual is driving through poor traffic conditions or congestion;
    • An individual is driving through inclement weather, obstructions or hazards; or
    • An individual is paying a toll or user fee.
  • Specifies that a violation of this provision is a Class C infraction (Sec. 69).
