Vote to pass a bill that increases the minimum smoking age from 18 to 21 years of age.

Highlights:

• Prohibits an individual under 21 years of age from purchasing, consuming or possessing tobacco products (Sec. 2).
• Prohibits an individual or company from providing or selling tobacco products directly or indirectly to an individual under the age of 21 (Sec. 6).
• Prohibits an individual from making certain promotional offers or advertisements of tobacco products without taking actions to ensure the product is not available to an individual under the age of 21 (Sec. 1).
• Requires the State Department of Public Health to establish a program to reduce the availability of tobacco products to an individual under 21 years of age (Sec. 3).
