Title: Classifies Marijuana Possession as a Civil Violation

Vote to pass a bill that classifies possession of 15 grams or less of cannabis as a civil law violation.

Highlights:

  • Requires a law enforcement agency and the clerk of the circuit court to expunge the records of an individual convicted of possession of up 15 grams of a substance containing marijuana, beginning 180 days after the enactment of the bill (Sec. 5).
