Vote to pass a bill that prohibits powdered alcohol, except for certain research purposes.

Highlights:

• Prohibits an individual from using, purchasing, selling, or possessing “powdered alcohol” for human consumption (Sec. 1).

• Defines "powdered alcohol" as a product in a powdered or crystalline form that contains any amount of alcohol (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits a holder of a retail license from using powdered alcohol as an alcoholic product (Sec. 1).

• Exempts the use of powdered alcohol for a commercial use approved by state law or bona fide research purposes by certain entities, including, but not limited to, an administrative unit of the state, an institution of higher education, and a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company (Sec. 1).
