Vote to pass a bill that amends appropriations for the Department of Environmental Protection for fiscal year 2015-2016, effective immediately.

Highlights:

• Increases the appropriations to the Hazardous Discharge Site Cleanup Fund by one-half of any additional amounts in natural resource, cost recoveries and other associated damages recovered by the state, in excess of $50 million (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that the funds are appropriated for the direct and indirect costs of remediation, restoration, clean up, costs for consulting and expert and legal services, and grants to further implement restoration activities (Sec. 1).
