  • Specifies that an individual is limited to receiving benefits for a maximum of 5 years, unless the following conditions are met (Sec. 1).
    • The individual is pregnant;
    • The individual is the sole caregiver of a family member less than 6 years old;
    • The individual is receiving temporary or permanent long-term disability benefits;
    • The individual is at least 19 years of age and is attending high school as a full-time student; or
    • The individual is enrolled before reaching 19 years of age.
