Vote to pass a bill that establishes preference for state and business contracts, effective January 1, 2015.
Highlights:
- Requires the Director of the Department of Administration to give preference for contract and subcontract awards to companies whose highest paid executive receives compensation equal to 32 times or less the amount paid to its lowest paid full-time employee (Sec. 1).
