Vote to pass a bill that limits the amount of full-contact practice time for youth football teams.

Highlights:

• Prohibits middle school and high school football teams from implementing the following practice schedules (Sec. 2):
• “Full-contact practice” more than 2 times a week;
• “Full-contact practice” longer than 90 minutes a day; and
• “Full-contact practice” during the off-season.

• Specifies the provisions of this bill to apply to school districts, charter schools, and private schools (Sec. 2). 

• Defines “full-contact practice” as practice where drills or live action involve collisions at game speed, where players execute tackles, and other activity that is typical of an "actual" tackle football game (Sec. 2).
