Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that reduces the maximum capacity of firearm magazines from 15 to 10 rounds.

Highlights:

• Reduces the maximum capacity of firearm magazines from 15 rounds to 10 rounds (Sec. 1).

• Exempts any semi-automatic rifle capable of operating with .22 caliber rim fire ammunition and which has an attached tubular device from the provisions of this bill (Sec. 1).

• Exempts law enforcement officers from provisions of the bill (Sec. 3). 

• Requires any individual who owns a firearm or magazine with a 15 round capacity to perform 1 of the following actions within 180 days from the effective date of this bill (Sec. 4):
• Surrender the firearm to the superintendent or chief of police of the municipality in which he or she resides; 
• Transfer it to an individual authorized to an individual who may lawfully possess it; or 
• Render the firearm inoperable.
