Vote to adopt an amendment that prohibits school districts from implementing Common Core standards using certain state funds .
Highlights:
- Prohibits a school district or state agency from appropriating money from certain funds to implement Common Core standards without legislature approval, including, but not limited to, the following funds:
- Funds from the State General Fund;
- Funds from any special revenue fund; or
- Funds from fiscal years ending June 30, 2015, June 30, 2016, or June 30, 2017.
