Vote to pass a bill that prohibits implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.

Highlights:

• Prohibits any agency, officer, or employee of this state from aiding any agency in the enforcement of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (Sec. 2).

• Authorizes the Attorney General to bring an action in the name of the state against an individual or entity causing harm to another individual or business through implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (Sec. 3).

• Requires an individual subjected to a tax under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 to receive a tax deductible in the exact amount of the taxes or penalty (Sec. 4).

• Prohibits the state or a political subdivision of the state from establishing a health care exchange for the purchase of health insurance, from purchasing health insurance in a health care exchange, and from enforcing a health care contract purchased or established in a health care exchange (Sec. 5).

• Prohibits a state agency, department, or other entity from authorizing an individual from acting on behalf of the department to conduct or participate in an involuntary maternal, infant, and early childhood in-home visitation pursuant to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (Sec. 6).
