  • Authorizes the governing authority of a county or municipality to adopt a resolution or ordinance authorizing the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption from 12:30 P.M. until midnight on a Sunday on which a “spirited holiday” falls (Sec. 1).
  • Defines “spirited holiday” as the Fourth of July holiday, the Labor Day holiday, the Memorial Day holiday and the St. Patrick’s Day holiday (Sec. 1).
  • Establishes the following dates for each spirited holiday (Sec. 1):
    • Fourth of July is July 4 through July 6;
    • Labor Day is the day before the first Monday in September;
    • Memorial Day is the day before the last Monday in May; and
    • St. Patrick’s Day is March 16 through March 18.
