Title: Prescription Drug Reimportation Act
Vote to pass a bill that authorizes any licensed pharmacists and wholesale drug distributor in Oklahoma to import prescription drugs from a certified Canadian supplier and to distribute these drugs to patients or licensed pharmacists of Oklahoma state. This bill specifies certain criteria that a Canadian supplier must meet to be certified and that individuals can only get imported drugs from these suppliers. This bill also states that only licensed wholesalers, pharmacies, or pharmacists can import drugs and violating this provision is a felony with a penalty of up to two years of imprisonment, a fine up to $2,000, or both.
