Title: Child Product Safety Requirements
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits commercial dealers from selling or leasing a childs product that is unsafe or has not met safety conditions in any way. The bill also prohibits child care facilities from knowingly having an unsafe childs product on the property and allows the Department of Human Services to deny, suspend, revoke, or put of probation a child care facility that does not comply with these requirements. The bill also sets a penalty of between $50 and $250 for a violation of the new child safety requirements.
