Vote to adopt a conference report that authorizes retailers to offer certain goods at "below-cost" prices, effective November 1, 2013.

Highlights:

• Authorizes retailers to sell certain products at prices that are “below-cost,” provided that (Sec. 6):
• Such a sale or offer lasts for no more than 15 days; and
• Such single-day or multi-day sales do not occur more than 10 times in a year.

• Exempts certain products from the provisions of this bill, including, but not limited to, the following (Sec. 6):
• Gasoline and diesel fuel;
• Prescription drugs;
• Food and nonalcoholic beverages sold for off-premise consumption; and
• Household cleaning supplies.
