Repeals the protection for nontraditional journalists from having to reveal sources for individuals who are “materially similar” to journalists and work in nontraditional fields (Sec. 2).
Defines “journalist” as an individual who is professionally associated with a newspaper, magazine, news agency, press association, wire service, or radio or television network (Sec. 2).
Repeals the termination date of this bill set for June 30, 2013 (Sec. 3).
