Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the Natural Resources Commission to designate an animal as a game species.

Highlights:

• Authorizes the Natural Resources Commission to designate an animal as a game species, provided that the animal is not (Sec. 40110):
• A domestic animal;
• Livestock; or 
• A species added to the game list by a public act that was rejected by a referendum before May 8, 2013.

• Authorizes both the commission and the legislature to designate a species as game (Sec. 40110).

• Specifies that only the legislature may remove a species from the list of designated game species (Sec. 40110).

• Authorizes a member of the military to obtain any hunting or fishing license free of charge (Sec. 43536a).
