Title: Amends Definition of Delinquent Minor

Vote to pass a bill that increases the age at which an individual is considered a delinquent minor.

Highlights:
  • Increases the age at which an individual accused of violating a federal, state, country or municipal law is considered a delinquent minor from 17 to 18 (Sec. 5).
  • Exempts an individual who is at least 15 years old and has been charged with a certain offense, including, but not limited to first degree murder, aggravated criminal sexual assault or armed robbery from being considered a delinquent minor (Sec. 5).
