Highlights:

• Requires the physician who prescribed, dispensed, or otherwise provided a drug or chemical used to induce an abortion to be in the physical presence of the abortion patient during the drug administration (Sec. A).

• Requires the physician make all “reasonable efforts” to ensure that the abortion patient returns 12 to 18 days after the administration of any drug or chemical used to induce an abortion for a follow-up visit (Sec. A).
