Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that extends tax credits for the purchase of certain vehicles, effective January 1, 2014.

  • Extends tax credits for purchasing a new qualified electric or hybrid vehicle, or a vehicle that runs on natural gas from December 31, 2013, to December 31, 2014 (Sec. 2).
  • Repeals the tax credit for a vehicle that meets certain gas mileage minimum standards (Secs. 1 & 2).
  • Requires the tax credits under this bill to be funded through the Education Fund (Sec. 1).
  • Appropriates funds from the General Fund to the Education Fund if the amount of tax credits claimed under this bill exceeds $500,000 (Sec. 1).
