Vote to pass a bill that authorizes an individual to kill gray wolves in certain circumstances.

  • Authorizes the owner, the owner’s immediate family members, agents of the owner, or the owner's employees to kill a gray wolf that is attacking or poses an imminent threat to the owner’s livestock or domestic animals without a permit (Sec. 1).
  • Specifies that the owner refers to the possessor of the livestock or domestic animals threatened by a gray wolf and not the owner of the land where the attack occurs (Sec. 1).
  • Classifies a violation of this bill as a gross misdemeanor or a Class C felony, depending on the individual's history of unlawfully killing endangered wildlife (Sec. 2).
