Title: Cockfighting And Hog Dog Fighting

Vote to pass a bill that increases the penalties for individuals convicted of engaging in or being present at cockfighting or game fowl fighting or testing. A first offense is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $1,000 fine or up to one year imprisonment. A second offense is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $3,000 fine or up to three years of imprisonment. A third and all subsequent offenses are felonies punishable by up to a $5,000 fine or up to five years of imprisonment. Individuals convicted of the felony charge are subject to forfeiture of property gained through or used to further activities in violation of this statute. The bill also sets the same penalties for engaging in or being present at a "hog dog fight" or "hog dog rodeo."
