Vote to pass a bill that reduces the concealed carry license application fee, effective immediately.

Highlights:
  • Decreases the concealed carry license application fee from $100 to $50 (Sec. 2).
  • Decreases the concealed carry license application fee to $25 for applicants who are (Sec. 2):
    • At least 60 years of age; or
    • Veterans honorably discharged from service, in which he or she served more than 1 year before this bill’s effective date.
  • Specifies that the concealed carry license application fee is waived if the applicant has obtained an order of protection against an individual (Sec. 2).
