  • Requires up to $11 million of the federal funds provided for the pursuit of a state Health Benefit Exchange, appropriated prior to the effective date of this bill, to be reviewed for reimbursement to the state for technology and personnel expenses (Sec. 1).
  • Requires the North Carolina Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST) information technology system to provide Medicaid eligibility information to the federal Health Benefit Exchange (Sec. 2).
  • Limits appropriations to NC FAST for Medicaid eligibility determination to no more than $5 million of existing Department of Health and Human Services appropriations (Sec. 2).
