Highlights:

• Requires the Department of Health to compile and include the following additional information in its annual report on abortions to the Health and Human Services Interim Committee (Sec. 1):
• The total number of abortions performed in the state;
• The reported reasons why the patients sought an abortion;
• The stage of pregnancy, including the trimester and estimated week of pregnancy, in which the abortions were performed; and
• The races and ethnicities of the women who obtained abortions.

• Requires the report to be prepared and presented in a manner that preserves physician and patient anonymity (Sec. 1).
