Highlights:

• Establishes the Prenatal Care Program to provide prenatal coverage to pregnant women who are ineligible for Medicaid coverage based on their citizenship status (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that the Department of Social Services shall determine eligibility for the Prenatal Care Program using the same income limits and methods used to determine eligibility for the Medicaid pregnancy program (Sec. 5). 

• Specifies that only medical issues related to the pregnancy are covered under the provisions of this bill (Sec. 7).
