Vote to pass a resolution that extends the term of a special committee investigating the finances of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey until January 14, 2014.
- Extends the term of the Assembly Transportation, Public Works and Independent Authorities Committee to investigate the finances of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey through January 1, 2014 (Sec. 2).
- Authorizes the Assembly Transportation, Public Works and Independent Authorities Committee to do the following in its investigation, including, but not limited to (Sec. 3):
- Hold hearings, take testimony under oath, and issue subpoenas to receive documentary or physical evidence;
- Report possible violations of any law to the appropriate authorities; and
- Determine whether the return on a subpoena is adequate and order for more documentary evidence if the return is incomplete.
