Vote to pass a bill that expands eligibility for the state Medical Assistance Program by adjusting income limits in the program, effective January 1, 2014.

Highlights:

  • Expands eligibility for the Medical Assistance Program to children ages 19 to 20, effective January 1, 2014 (Sec. 2).
  • Expands the Modified Adjusted Gross Income measurement, used to calculate Social Security and Medicare eligibility, to be used to calculate Medical Assistance Program eligibility for the following groups (Sec. 3): 
    • Pregnant women;
    • Infants; 
    • Adults without children;
