Title: Expands Sales Tax Exemptions For Health-Related Entities
Vote to pass a bill that authorizes certain pregnancy resource clinics to receive sales tax exemptions as health-related entities.
- Expands the definition of “health-related entities” for the purpose of sales tax exemptions to include any pregnancy resource clinic that meets all of the following criteria (Sec. 1):
- The clinic operates as a non-profit and is exempt from federal income taxation;
- The clinic operates under the supervision of a licensed physician; and
- The clinic does not perform the termination of a pregnancy.
