Vote to pass a conference report that establishes the Wyoming lottery corporation and specifies procedures for the operation of the state lottery, effective July 1, 2013.

Highlights:
  • Establishes the Wyoming lottery corporation, with the authority to initiate, supervise and administer the operation of the lottery and enter into written agreements with 1 or more states for the operation of a joint lottery (Sec. 1).
  • Requires the net profits of the Wyoming lottery corporation be distributed in the following ways (Sec 1):
    • At least 45 percent be made available as prize money;
    • At least 6 percent be given to retailers for compensation;
