Title: Prohibits Smoking in a Vehicle with Minors
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits smoking in a vehicle with a minor present.
- Prohibits an individual who is at least 18 years of age from smoking in a vehicle if a minor under 15 years of age is present in the vehicle (Sec. 1).
- Defines “smoking” as carrying or holding any lighted pipe, cigar, cigarette, or any other lighted smoking equipment or lighting, inhaling, or exhaling smoke from a pipe, cigar, cigarette, or any other lighted smoking equipment (Sec. 1).
- Establishes a civil fine of $100 for violations of the provisions of this bill (Sec. 1).
