Vote to adopt an amendment that changes the requirements for a write-in candidate to win a party nomination in a primary election from needing five percent of total votes cast to five percent of the total number of registered voters within the district. The amendment further requires a write-in candidate to notify county officials to count any votes for them 50 days prior to the primary election, instead of 20 days.
