Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that requires drivers to have children under eight years old in the back seat in an appropriate child passenger restraint system and to have children between eight and sixteen secured with a seat belt when driving on a highway, with certain exceptions. The bill sets a fine of $100 for the first violation of these requirements.
