Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that authorizes agricultural employees to bring civil action against agricultural employers who repeatedly violate heat illness prevention regulations.

Highlights:

• Requires an agricultural employer to comply and certify by January 31 of each year that he or she is in compliance with heat illness prevention requirements including, but not limited to, providing employees with the following (Sec. 3):
• Water;
• Shade; and
• Training in the prevention of heat illness.

• Authorizes an employee to bring civil action against a repeat offender of heat illness prevention regulations (Sec. 3).
