Title: Cell Phone Use by Drivers Under 18 Prohibited

Vote to pass a bill that prohibits drivers under the age of 18 years old from operating a motor vehicle on a public street or highway while using a cell phone or any other additional technology associated with a cell phone, unless they are talking to a parent, legal guardian, spouse, or to someone regarding an emergency situation. This bill specifies that this shall not apply to a vehicle that is stationary and that any person who violates this law shall pay a fine of $25.
