Title: Restructures State Government

Vote to adopt a conference report that restructures the state government.
Highlights:
- Authorizes the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives to call the 2 houses into session to prevent a year end deficit (Sec. 13).
- Specifies that if the Board of Economic Advisors reduces the projected revenue for the fiscal year by 3 percent or more, during the first, second, or third quarter, the 2 houses may be called to session (Sec. 13).
- Requires the Executive Budget Office to reduce general fund appropriations if the General Assembly has not taken action within 20 days of the reduced revenue predicted for the fiscal year (Sec. 13).
- Specifies that an annual accountability report from each agency and department of the government shall be submitted to the following (Sec. 33):
- The Office of Accountability and Auditing
- The House
- The Senate; and
- The Governor
