  • Transfers $10 million from the Office of the State Treasurer to the Eugenics Sterilization Compensation Fund (Sec. 7).
  • Requires the Eugenics Sterilization Compensation Fund to compensate each individual who was lawfully sterilized under the authority of the Eugenics Board of North Carolina with a lump-sum payment of $50,000 (Secs. 1 & 5).

  • Requires the North Carolina Industrial Commission to establish rules for determining eligibility for compensation (Sec. 1).
