Vote to adopt an amendment to S 3240 that rescinds bonus payments to states that meet standards for high performance or the most improved performance in the state's administration of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
- Repeals the requirement that the Secretary of Agriculture establish standards for high and most improved performance to be used in awarding performance bonus payments to states for their administration of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
- Rescinds the $48 million per fiscal year in appropriations for performance bonus payments to states that meet the standards for high performance or the most improved performance in administering the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
