Vote Smart's Synopsis:

Vote to pass a bill that changes the additional state sales tax rate of the sale of any alcoholic beverages sold at retail Alcoholic Control stores. The applicable local sales tax changes from 2 percent to either .5 percent, or 1.5 percent, or applicable local sales taxes depending on the county, city, or municipality. The bill also requires that the extra proceeds shall be distributed to the local government in which the retail store is located and collected the local sales tax.
