Title: Expands Casino Gambling
Vote to pass a bill that expands casino gambling on Indian lands to include Class III gaming activities.
- Authorizes the following Class III gaming activities (Sec. 2):
- Gaming Machines;
- Live Table Games;
- Raffles; and
- Video Games.
- Authorizes Class III gaming activities on Indian lands if all of the following conditions are met (Sec. 2):
- Class III games are conducted in accordance with the Class III Tribal-State Gaming Compact;
- The Tribal-State Gaming Compact has been approved by the U.S. Department of the Interior; and
- The Tribal-State Gaming Compact requires all funds paid to the tribe to be paid to the Indian Gaming Education Revenue Fund.
- Establishes the Indian Gaming Education Revenue Fund that will be allocated by the State Board of Education to schools (Sec. 1).
