Title: Prohibits Discrimination Against Religious Student Groups at Public Universities

Vote to pass a bill that prohibits state higher education institutions from discriminating against religious organizations that select members or leaders based on religious criteria, effective July 1, 2012.
Highlights:
- Prohibits a state higher education institution from discriminating against or denying recognition, funds, or facilities to a student organization based on the religious nature of the organization's speech or worship (Sec. 1).
- Prohibits a state higher education institution from discriminating against or denying recognition, funds, or facilities to a student organization based on the organization's requirement that only people who profess the group's faith may serve as members or leaders (Sec. 1).
