    • Failure to provide medical attention;
    • Infliction of unnecessary personal injury to the animal;
    • Torture; and
    • Killing the animal.
  • Exempts dogs from protection from the above activities if the activity is directly related to the business of shepherding or herding livestock and is necessary for the safety of a human (Sec. 1).
