Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funds to the independent redistricting commission.
- Appropriates $700,000 from the state general fund to the independent redistricting commission (Sec. 1).
- Requires the auditor general to report the redistricting commission’s expenditures including, but not limited to, the following (Sec. 1):
- Professional services;
- Travel;
- Equipment; and
- Other operating expenses.
- Transfers any funds not spent by June 30, 2013 back to the state general fund (Sec. 1).
