Title: Transportation Funding
Vote to pass a bill that determines that money within specified transportation-related funds shall be used only for the funding and maintenance of highways, public transportation, congestion mitigations, railways, seaports, and airports. This bill also generates new revenues for transportation by imposing additional fees upon certain driving convictions, increasing the cost of motor vehicle registration and doubling the gross weight registration fee, additional fees for every weight limit violation, authorizing a local grantor's tax at the rate of 30 cents for each $100, increasing the motor vehicle sales and use tax by 0.75 percent and imposing a $0.06 per gallon fee on all motor fuel distributed in the Commonwealth.
