Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the Department of Natural Resources to establish fees for State Parks, effective on July 1st, 2012.

Highlights:

• Authorizes the Department of Natural Resources to establish the following fees for State Parks (Sec. 5):
• An annual vehicle fee;
• A daily access fee for pedestrians and vehicle owners who have not currently paid an annual fee; and
• A fee for individuals who use the park but do not pay the annual vehicle fee or the daily access fee.

• Appropriates the revenue from the fees to one of the following funds (Sec. 5):
  
  • The State Parks Fund; or
  • The Wildlife and Fish Fund.
