Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funds for forest restoration.

Highlights:

• Establishes the Land Conservation Fund consisting of the conservation donation account and the public conservation account (Sec. 2).

• Establishes the Forest Restoration and Treatment Fund for the identification and restoration of high priority forest and woodland areas (Sec.1).

• Appropriates funds from the Land Conservation Fund as follows (Sec. 2):
• $2 million to the Livestock and Crop Conservation Fund;
• $20 million to the Centennial Fund for State Historical and Cultural Purposes; and
• The remainder of funds in the Land Conservation Fund to the Forest Restoration and Treatment Fund.
