Title: Authorizes Individuals to Refuse to Provide Services for Marriages

Vote on a motion to declare a bill inexpedient to legislate that authorizes individuals to refuse to provide services for marriages, beginning January 1, 2013.
Authorizes an individual to refuse to provide services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods, or privileges to another person in the following circumstances (Sec. 1):
If the request is related to the solemnization, celebration, or promotion of a marriage; and
Fulfilling the request would violate the individual’s conscience or religious faith.
