Title: Prohibits Recording of Agricultural Operations
Vote Smart's Synopsis:
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits any individual from intentionally recording any image or sound from an agricultural operation without the permission of the owner.
Prohibits any person from intentionally recording any image or sound from an agricultural operation without the permission of the owner (Sec. 1).
Prohibits recording under all of the following circumstances (Sec. 1):
The person has left a recording device on the premises;
The person has obtained access to the agricultural operation under false pretences;
The person is criminally trespassing; and
The person conducts recording while employed by an agricultural operation that prohibits recording.
Defines an “agricultural operation” as private property used for the production of livestock, poultry, livestock products, or poultry products (Sec. 1).
