Vote to pass a bill that increases the required waiting period for an abortion to 72 hours.
-Increases the required waiting period between a face-to-face consultation and an abortion procedure from 24 to 72 hours (Sec.1).
-Authorizes the face to face consultation to take place at a location anywhere in the state (Sec. 1).
-Exempts from the provisions of the bill any abortion that is necessary, in the opinion of the physician, due to either of the following circumstances (Sec. 1):
-A ruptured membrane; or
-A serious infection.
